If you are a wine lover then Cyprus is a great place to visit or live. Evidence of making wine in Cyprus dates back to the fourth millenium B.C. The island is covered with vineyards located in a range at very high altitudes in the mountains or lowlands near the coasts. 

The hot dry climate in the higher altitude are ideal conditions for a good grape and the variety of conditions produce a variety of grapes..

 We have a page on our main website Cyprus101.com about agricultural land in Cyprus  that does well and attracts a lot of traffic.  We get many questions from the page and I don't always know the answers so I ask others who work more closely with the law and land. Every once in a while we try and write something other than the regular property listing. We use to do this more often at first but as the years went by we found ourselves so busy trying to just take care of the listings and promoting them that we had a hard time doing anything else. The wine in Cyprus deserves some attention as it is in a class with the best of wines but not as famous as the other well known countries but that's expected considering that we are just a tiny island compared to a France or Italy or California.
